Skal kjøre scooteren min til Svinesund imorgen 9 mil og max 50 km/t!

Hey, no secret messages .

Welcome to TP!

You should consider to day trip to Philadelphia (from NYC), there's a lot of cool historical stuff to see and it's all within a small walking area.

Gelli: I'm in the Oslo area. I have a great love for rain and that's where the name comes from :)

Travel100: Sorry! secret messages won't happen again! I was telling voyages that I'm driving my scooter across the border to Sweden tomorrow. 90 km and no faster than 50 km/h

How long would it take me to go to Philadelphia from NYC?

It's a round 160/km. and would take around 2 hours (by train, bus, or car).

Once you are in Old Town Philadelphia you can see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Ben Franklin's Grave and a place he lived, the place where Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, the US Mint, etc..

A couple miles away (up Ben Franklin Parkway) you can see the Art Museum (where they had Live Aid yesterday and the steps the "Rocky" ran up in the movie, etc.). There is also a tourist type bus you can take around while they explain things & can get on & off as often as you like.

It's worth a day trip.

Velkommen!!!

I live in Oslo and am one of the owners/admins of the site. Whereabouts in Norway do you live? I've travelled to most of those places, but it wasn't on a greyhound. Shouldn't be too hard at all though!!

See you around!

Sam
