hi far,
Didn't I tell you it was a small world! Actually, it is very very very small world. I work in Fort Worth, in the Health Department by the botanical garden on University avenue.

So what do you want to know about airline employee? Delta has better flight benefit than AA, so I heard!

before 9-11 the benefit was great, but after 9-11 my benefit is cut in half. Now delta is about to go B-rupcy.

Sorry to hear about Delta,

I figured it will come to that. Delta expenditure per passenger mile, is the highest in the business right now. At American, they cut everything, trying to save 1.8 billion dollars a year. Reduced workers, put more work on the ones who are still in. Lower salaries, medical benefits, ect...
At American, we have to pay a small amount for our travel. I was told at Delta, you can travel free. American let us travel free in coach after 5 years in service, I had 4years and 1 month before laid off. Still, I can't complain, cheaper that any sales out there. So what do you do for Delta?

well, my title is an AMT according to the government, but I'm an aircraft mechanic and been with Delta for 5 1/2 yrs now. yes we still fly for free. before Delta, I was with american eagle with them 2 yrs. I can't complain, I still have a job after delta make a 15% workforce cut.
