I work for united express in northern california...It's a little airport
called Eureka Arcata in Humboldt co behind the "Redwood Curtain"
If you can fly up here in the summer it is beautifull..If you like the
outdoors, there is lots of hiking and 6 amazing rivers...
I am looking to go to spain in april, any suggestions???

Hi Jena,

Sounded like you've a nice place to work and live. Hope United doing better. I was laid off from American for ten months. I just got a recall letter last week, and will be back as airport agent March 1st. Going to Spain sounds fun. Although, I wouldn't know what to do there. Far. and I, although work for different airlines, we work at DFW. I travelled to California a lot, but mostly San Franciso, and LA. AA doesn't go to Eureka. To go to your place I will have to buy ID 90 tkt. So what do you do for United. I guess in a small station you do almost everything!
Happy traveling!

By the way, for you, airline employees, I hope you know that, you can get discount on hotel and car rental when travel. Just tell them you work for an airline and ask for travel industry rate. However, do compare with the sale rate they have at the moment, or with the internet rate.

Hi Jena,

I guess you work at ACV! If I came bay plane at ACV, and rented a car, what can I see in about 7 or 8 hours before I get back to the airport and go home? Or I might drive up from San Francisco and take 101 up to Humbolt co. How many miles is that from SF, 200? You sure live in a quite beautiful place, not so internationally well known, though! Does United express fly in from OAK or SFO?

Hi Far,

I have never got any discount thru those non-rev websites. I got discount directly from car rental and hotels. All most all car rental companies have travel industry discount. Many big hotel chain also have discount for us. Just call their toll free number and ask, before you book. Next time if you plan to stay somewhere, let me know, and I see if I can check for you.

Have a nice day,
