Hi there, let's get this started....even though there is already a thread out there somewhere on this
I am Samuel Daams, some people call me Sam, others stick to Samuel. Travelling is basically my life and you can verify that in my profile if you doubt it
I live in the Netherlands although I am having some serious thought on the issue of moving to Norway, yes, it is woman related
Currently starting up a business which will facilitate dutch students wanting to study overseas; very much looking forward to the challenge!
Cheers and happy travels!
ps. I am also one of the founders, owners, admins of this here little site....the other is my brother Pete who is running around somewhere
Hi everyone, I'm Solvejg, 43 years, living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm working as a productions coordinator, been at the same firm (but different positions) since 1988. Travelled first time on my own in 1978 (with friends for 4 weeks), since then I've travelled numerous times over Europe, lots of times on my own. Been travelling a bit in Asia and Indonesia for 3 months with my 5-year-old son (now 12). Been to Thailand and Australia in 2001 and Australia won my heart, will definitely go back, had so little time and my boyfriend got ill and stayed in hospital first in Brisbane and then in Bangkok.
If I had the money I'd be travelling all the time, love it, manage to get away for week-ends 2-3 times a year and try to get away 3 weeks every summer. Those are the conditions when you stick to your job and try to be a good mother and keep your son in a good school which he enjoys. Looking forward to retirement already
In about 10 days I'm off on my own for 2 weeks to the Philippines, a first for me and will include a 7-day cruise, which I'm really looking forward to.
Do you need any info on Copenhagen or maybe other parts of Denmark, just let me know.
Now this is an old post
Sam wasn't even hitched or in Norway!
Thansk for introducing sole as well
Wow, thread number 131!!!! And I'm still subscribed to it too... hehehe, thanks for the welcomes all!
Amazing what a little bump can do.
Another warm welcome from me! Glad to see you have stuck around all this time!!!
Hi 'Sam the same',
As usual, welcome to TP! (I can't get any new phrase on my welcoming speech, really...)
