I purchased a oneworld ticket also. 4 continenets or 20 flights (not including intercontinetal flights or backtraking) was £1319 + taxes. Taxes were £280.
LONDON - MIAMI - LIMA - CUZCO - LIMA - QUITO - GUAYQUIL - SANTIAGO - EASTER ISLAND - SANTIAGO - AUCKLAND - CHRISTCHURCH - SYDNEY - MELBOURNE - PERTH - SINGAPORE - BANGKOK - LONDON.
This was the best deal I could come up with.
Like Clanger, we had a specific (if convoluted!) itinerary, and found that Trailfinders was easily the most helpful of the three agents we approached.
The total flight cost each was £1900, but we seem to be getting a lot of bang for our buck over 12 months (starting Jan '06):
London - Capetown
Johannesburg - Hong Kong
Hong Kong - Bangkok
Singapore - Cairns
Sydney - Christchurch
Auckland - Santiago
Santiago - Buenos Aires
Rio - back to Santiago (via Sao Paulo)
Santiago - Calama
Quito - Miami
Miami - Panama
Mexico City - Madrid
Madrid - London
Phew! Told you it was convoluted...
$3300AU low season for 6 continents and 20 flights. + taxes.. One world
I paid £1300 all in, London-Mumbai,Goa,Bangalore-Singapore-Bangkok-Bali-Sydney,Cairns-Aukland-Fiji-L.A-London
