Hey everyone... my name is Alex, I'm 22 from sydney. I also suffer from not enough money and too little time as I work full-time and Study full time as well. Still find the odd chance to blow all my money on a few weeks away every now and again.
Recently I have been around Thailand Vietnam and Laos as well as a week in Vanuatu. Planning a trip in January and February next year- its a bit of an odd assortment of places but I found a cheap ticket so I jumped on it. I plan to go for a couple of weeks in Europe and also Sri Lanka and about a month in South East Asia just to see a bit more. It actually worked out cheaper to fly to europe than straight to asia at that time of the year.
I actually found travellerspoint just before my last trip but never became a member out of sheer laziness. But found myself here again while looking for places to go on my next trip and thought it was worth checking out the full value of the site.
Thats just a little about me..
Welcome to Tp Alex
What parts of Europe are you planning to visit ?
Welcome to TP - this time as a member!!
I'm sure, since TP worked for your last trip, that you will find more than enough information to help plan your next one. Ask questions in the forums if you don't find what you need - someone(s) is always willing to help with the answers.
Again, welcome and hope to see you in the forums!
Welcome to TP! Your trip sounds fabulous...
hey alex... welcome to tp!! sounds like you've had many exciting adventures with many more to come!!!
The only definate stops are London (fly into there and obligatory visit to family) and Paris (fly out) but hopefully going to spend a bit of time in Czech Republic- have always wanted to go there but always seem to end up somewhere else when I am in Europe..
welcome to TP! Am sure you'll like Prague, it's a great city!
Welcome to TP!
What were your favorites places you visited on your SE Asia trip?
By the way, Do try and go to Prague, you'll love it!
I really enjoyed Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, also spent a few days in Hoi An which was a little bit touristy but a good wind down after the chaos of Ho Chi Minh... Loved Luang Prabang, didnt have long in Laos and was restricted as I had to make an obligatory stop in Vientiane to visit people I know working there... would have preferred to get off the beaten track a bit but will stop there again February next year probably...
I was in Thailand just after the tsunami hit so didnt see as much of the coast as I would have like will explore there more soon... liked Chiang Mai..
