my good friend, told me on the phone yesterday she wants to go to London in Sep this yr, up to Ireland to visit relatives and maybe Paris, and then find a job in London, and she wants me to come.
I'd love to pack up and leave, but I've been planning a big trip next May for a few months to stop-over America (I'm from Australia) then to London to start my trekk around Europe. She's only got $AU 4000 (about 1,700 pounds), and she needs to pay for airfare with that. How easy would it be for her to find a job in London (any decent job?), seeing as that kind of money won't last that long, especially with the poor exchange rate. I'd love to go, but I want to save up a bit more money, and I feel rushed trying to plan a trip in sep, seeing as I want to get a RTW ticket.
Also, do you think it's better to just go with what you have, or wait and work longer to go for longer next year? I want to convince her to wait a bit longer.
