Dear Forumers,

Hi everyone..I'm new here. Me & my husband will visit Sydney soon for our vacation. Would like to find a budget hotels/motels around Sydney area. Say maybe about AUD40-AUD80 per nite (below AUD80 if possible). We're going there for a quite long time so I think it is not worth if we're taking a 3/4 star hotels, as most of our time will spend outside.

Your cooperation is highly appreciated. Thank you.

You might want to stay in areas that offer budget hotels: Central Station/Chinatown or the Darling Harbour. Be careful though to check if these hotels offer accommodations with decent standards.

I found one hotel (not luxurious) but their rates are around $100 AUD. If you are interested, please contact me at -snip-

Hi mercyside,

You might also want to check out the Formule 1 hotels... I stayed in one in Brisbane and the service was great, the people were nice, the room was very cheap at $59 a night for two and you could get breakfast for six dollars. The rooms had TV as well, everything else (microwave, coffee machine, vending machine, cettle, fridge) was available in the hallway. There are several ones in Sydney, prices depend on the location...
