Gack - math! OK, from what I can figure my antipode is somewhere off the south-west coast of Australia - almost smack-dab in the middle between Australia and Antartica. Which I take it is a whole heck of a lot of people's antipode! I suppose I can set up a houseboat there, if I don't mind the sharks...

Ack, I am completely lost! Someone please help me find the antipode of Singapore...

But I figured hitting moose land in Canada wouldn't be a bad idea... I could take care of moose in the day and surf the Internet at night.

I'm as confused as Summer!!!

Someone else figure this out for me, PLEASE!!! (I think I know where I'll end up, but just want verification...)

My coordinates are:

Lat = 42 23 00 N (degrees minutes) or 42.3833 (decimal degrees)
Long = 089 31 00 W (degrees minutes) or -89.5167 (decimal degrees)

Thank you!

Quoting Isadora

I'm as confused as Summer!!!

Psst... I calculated my original antipode in the middle of Arkansas, then re-did it and ended up somewhere off Chile. I kinda played around with all the double negatives and ended up somewhere that made more sense.

I calculated mine and wound up back at my house!!! When I went the other way, the map was blank except for a red star. Where the hell is that???? (maybe I don't want to know... )

It was probably in the middle of a body of water. Just click zoom out until you can see land and identify where the star is.

YEAH - WE'VE BEEN SAVED FROM ANTIPODE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Greg!!!!!!!!! I was ready to go get my old globe from the 1960s and just stick a pencil through it! Now I don't have to ruin a great piece history (or junk depending on your view).

See you on the shark boat, Tina!!!
