Everyone root for Cupcake's new hometown to break it's all-time record. She only needs 3 more days with the tempature over 100/degrees, to set a new record of 39 strainght days over 100/degrees! And maybe with some luck they could keep the streak going for a while and "shatter" the old record. .

Good Luck, we're rooting for you.

Your evil Jeffry! (WISH FOR A COOL FRONT, not a cold one, I've had enough of that in this lifetime;) )It sucks! But it doesn't suck nearly as much as the 3 scorpions that have been found in the house...:( I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight....

3 scorpions, aghhh hop on plane and come to Ireland, you'll get plenty of sleep here , the weather is starting to change slightly here, and cool down a bit but still warm enough for no jackets..

Don't bother coming back up here - it's in the high 90's and we'll be breaking that 100 mark over the coming weekend. We've only had a half inch of rain since June 1st.

With any luck, hurricane Emily will drop some rain and cooler temps over you soon. Keep your fingers crossed! But, don't take all the rain - we need some desperately too!!!!

Isa shakes her fist at Jeffrey for wanting to fry CC! Bad Jeffrey!!!

Ditto for Montreal - it's the hottest summer on record since 1955 or something. But you can keep your scorpions! Jeez, I'd be sleeping in the car...

We are experiencing an average high of 34degC (93degF) with an average humidity of 70% for 365 days a year!

Hien wins!!!!(for the hottest weather) It is only this ungodly hot and humid for about two months here...then it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

I heard this morning in Good Morning America about the heat wave going through Arizona and Nevada and I thought of you CC. I told Steve...and Josette just moved there too...

Dont worry, you will get used to it too, I have...and God knows I cant stand the weather here .

Quoting CupCake

It is only this ungodly hot and humid for about two months here...then it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

I was born there way back in the last century when it wasn't as humid as it is now. Everyone now has a pool, waters their lawns, etc. and that makes for much more humidity. 100+F with any humidity is awful. Throw in the fact that Tucson is surrounded on three sides by mountains that tend to trap air.....well, sometimes you just want to chew off your foot to get out of that trap.

This is the rainy season....wait until dry season. The old joke about Tucson is...Why would anyone build a sauna, just step outside.....

BTW, scorpions just like shady areas (including Tway, your car). Make sure everything is sealed (door sweeps, windows, fireplaces, etc.) The huge yellow ones aren't too out for the little brown ones---they'll put you down, and I don't mean emotionally. And Gila Monsters.....don't get bitten, they don't let go. And arizona Highway Patrol Officers. They'll put you down too, and this time I mean emotionally........
