It is only this ungodly hot and humid for about two months here...then it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

REALLY??????
I was born there way back in the last century when it wasn't as humid as it is now. Everyone now has a pool, waters their lawns, etc. and that makes for much more humidity. 100+F with any humidity is awful. Throw in the fact that Tucson is surrounded on three sides by mountains that tend to trap air.....well, sometimes you just want to chew off your foot to get out of that trap.

I have been here at all times of year and other than NOW, it is beautiful..it really isn't humid ever, except for monsoon and the little bit of rainy weather around Christmas;)

BTW, scorpions just like shady areas (including Tway, your car). Make sure everything is sealed (door sweeps, windows, fireplaces, etc.) The huge yellow ones aren't too bad....watch out for the little brown ones---they'll put you down, and I don't mean emotionally. And Gila Monsters.....don't get bitten, they don't let go. And arizona Highway Patrol Officers. They'll put you down too, and this time I mean emotionally........

It was a little kinda of 'clearish-brownish' one...dammit! I HATE BUGS!!! Gila's I have never seen (but I don't hang out in the deep desert either;) And Arizona Highway Patrol Officers? I can only hope! ;)

Hey CC!

Maybe you should come back up here - it's just as hot and NO scorpions or gila monsters!!! (Only the Isas! )

ps: Do me a BIG favor... when you hit quote, hit return and move down a line before you start to type your reply. If you type directly under the quoted part - it tends to screw up the quote boxes. I'm not sure why, but it does. Mind you, I don't have a problem fixing the quotes - but I thought I'd pass along the secret. ;)

The heat in Arizona is no joke! Holy s...here are some news. Speaking of heat, probably one hour after I posted something here about the heat, the A/C went out in the office, it is about 150 degrees in here, everyone is gone, but I am still holding the fort. I cant afford to leave right now, there is just way too much to do. Anyone have some ice??

In the infamous words of (Gilda Radner's) Emily Litella on Saturday Night Live...

Never mind.

Seems the quote thing is just another Isa-ism and only happens with IE on Macs. I will stop "fixing" what isn't broken...
