Does anyone know of any where on the web I can find info on Budapest train tickets for pricing and times? The onbly option I have is to walk to the stations and speak with the un-friendly ticket counters.
Lookin for prices to Romania and Croatia, mainly.
have a look
Travellerspoint has an affiliate setup with railkey (US based) and they offer tickets for Romania. I am not sure on the pricing in comparison to others but I'd assume it's similar. Also, often on these websites, you can only buy the tickets if you're actually not in Europe !!
Other than that, I find the destination specific railsites the most useful but they can be a pain to find and aren't always in English...
hey there! thank you, these sites are great. Its always difficult it seems in East Euro to work this out via the web as prices are different than actually speaking to someones face at the ticket counter.
Well off i go to struggle with my terrible hungarian at the train station to comparison shop!
