What romantic gesture have you made to a loved one, or what romantic gesture have you been on the receiving end of?

Arenstein has said that "an old boyfriend played his guitar and sang it to me (a Gordon Lightfoot song) overlooking the Manhattan skyline, now how romantic is that??"

I reckon that's very romantic.

So what have you done to woo your loved one, or what have they done to woo you?

hahaha! I think when he served me breakfast in bed after a huge fight the other night. And then while eating he asked me in his sweet voice, "So, what are we going to do today?", in which I reply, "Fight the whole day, Honey!".

One of my ex-boyfriends once took me to Vancouver harbour and we went on a three-hour candlelight dinner on a boat which cruised around at night. Vancouver skyline at its best. Damn, that was romantic!
I in return watch sports or go to the stadium with the guys which they consider the most romantic thing I could do

My boyfriend was low on funds for Valentine's Day, so he bought a scrapbook and some pencils and made me a "how-we-met" book. He put in stories, cut out pictures, added some drawings - it was beautiful. Knowing he took the time to put all that work in was what I found so romatic.

The first time I was very ill in the hospital...my husband never left my side...for almost 2 weeks....that was the most selfless, loving gesture (although gesture just doesn't seem to cover it) act that anyone has ever done for me...

When living in London, my ex used to get home before me & every couple of weeks I would arrive home to the beautiful scent of my favourite flowers filling the house.. Stargazer Lillies.. I'm a sucker for flowers;)

for me its the little things that i find the most romantic or thoughtful.... like giving up the window seat, giving up the last piece of anything, watching something that makes the other person happy,

i once flew an ex to Rome because he said it was something he'd dreamed of since he was a toddler, once we got there he spent the whole time flirting with someone else,
