travel through Thailand to the south by buses stopping at some places like Cha Am, Hua Hin, Ranong, Krabi, Surattani, Nakhon si thammarat, Songkhla.

There are some nice national parks on your way - if you are after nature.

In Malaysia check out at least Kuala Lumphur, Penang and Melaka

Im also doing this route, & have been told that although will be in Thailand for less than 30 days I still need to get a visa as won't be flying out of the country. Is this true? Also would I need a visa for Malaysia? Have fun on you're trip

Hi Chris,

will suggest you take a few days in bangkok and take the train slowly down to Singapore. On the way, you can take in the sights in southern Thailand as well as Malaysia..

Just leave about 3 days for Singapore will do
