Ok, fair enough to give the Caribbean some more exposure. It would be somewhat tricky to start a new forum at this stage, mainly due to the list of countries that would fall under the new forum not being classified in such a way to make it easily achievable. Also, it would mean we really need to create quite a few other forums as well: Scandinavia, UK, Eastern Europe, South East Asia, Central Asia, etc.. etc.. it would be a massive overhaul (one which is bound to happen at some point, but I think not necessary yet)

It would certainly be no problem changing the title and description of the forum though.

Just wondering about wording.. how does this look:

Central/South America & The Caribbean
Discuss the southern Americas and the Caribbean here

Not sure about the Central/South America part..

Btw, any better forum description suggestions are welcome. The current ones are pretty uninspired if I say so myself

Also, I like the other forum names. Setting them up as "continents" seems to be appropriate. Now, if you want funny names, I could probably think up a few.......

Okay, before anyone jumps me about my (above) comment... NO, I did not mean that Central and South America were wastelands!!!!! Just so we're clear!!!!! I like Central and South America, and by the number of threads in that forum - so do many other people. I happen to like the Caribbean, which until now, was just floating in a cyberspace ocean...

I'm guessing try North America first - if that doesn't work - try the new Cuba forum that, no doubt, will be set up shortly!!! (Hahahahahaha!!!!)

I heard Canadians were banned from Cuba for life - the Canadians life - not Castro's!

I've been on holiday... in North Carolina (I know.. why does someone who lives in the Caribbean have to go on holiday.. but my family is still in NC.. and the best deal on "stuff" is there (clothes, shoes etc).. I go on a shopping holiday when I'm there).

Thanks for changing the forum name.. Hopefully that will help people know they can ask questions about "The Caribbean" on this forum.

As for Mexico and Cuba.. Cuba is part of the Caribbean (although not a member of the Caribbean Community Countries (Caricom) but it's still located here.. Mexico.. not so sure.. but it's sometimes lumped into North America with Canada and the US.
