and i looked at the end of the room it was really dark and i saw 2 eyes just starring at me all i could see 2 big green eyes i was pretty freaked out but i just went back to bed (still in my dream)then i woke up like before still in my dream thinkign everything was normal and i looked up whilst lying down and these 2 eyes where staring at me right above me i couldnt move at all and it was thrusting me - pretty freaky when ure getting raped by the devil - neway i woke up properly a second later and the room was exactly the same without the devil and i just frekaed out and switched the light on jeesus that was a freaky dream.....

T.J., that sounds like a condition I saw on Discovery eons back. People wake up, but their brains still think they're in dream sleep - and their bodies continue to produce whatever chemical paralyzes you so you don't act out your dreams. These poor people would open their eyes to see devils, witches, deamons sitting on their chests - and couldn't move. One man was so terrified of sleeping he moved into a priest's house to try to exorcise whatever was posessing him.

I wish I could remember the name of the condition... Night terrors, maybe? Sleep paralysis? Something frightening.

You might be thinking of "false awakenings" - which is where someone dreams they have awakened from sleep but actually have not. Though not the same thing, false awakenings are usually associated with "lucid dreams" - which is where the dreamer has a conscious perception of their dream state. Because the body is in an almost paralytic state during REM (dream) sleep, if the dreamer experiences a nightmare and a false awakening, the brain is not necessarily able to "tell" the body to move. The dreamer basically remains paralysed until the REM cycle is completed.
