Hi everybody!
could u please help me with a suggestion for an itinerary for a week in Spain or Portogul for next October?
We like nature, culture, music, food.
We are looking for cheap accomodation and transportation.
Is it going to be cold?
Our departure point will be Cyprus. As far as i know there are no direct flights for Spain or Portogul.Via which airport/ airways do u think i should travel in order to save money?
thanks

Hi Nicholas,

I stayed in Torremolinos, Spain for two weeks in October a few years back. The weather was perfect - always around 25 C and sunny. I wouldn't recommend staying right in Torremolinos itself, though, as it was extremely touristy. That said, the accommodation was pretty cheap in those apartment-block hotels.

I recommend a visit to Ronda, Gibraltar, and Seville. You can get a bus to each of those places, and walkign around won't cost you a penny! The architecture is gorgeous and you can stop at those beach-side fish places for an inexpensive meal.

Hope that helps!

Tway.

Hi, Nic.
Have you ever heard about Barcelona? I thing its n1 of Spain. The old town, The Gaudi's works, the cultural life and the beeches, especially in October, yes: quiet and nobody, even could swim, the whether is still wormy and calm. -snip-? If I am not there in October its cause I am changed my mind and will go November: cheaper and everything mine - no queues at all! For days in BCN, two in Sevilla and three in Madrid is enough for first visit to Spain. Have fun and good weather.

[ Edit: sorry, no promos in the forum please. ]

November is good choice for BCN. Low season, good prices, good restaurants, still good weather, even can swim, 18, 20C the water (if you a northern or central European/ American) or just stay on the beech. Sometimes November is better then October. Something like spring, that's all.
