I always get nervous before trips. This is my first business trip and I am scared the people will see right through me and realize I do not know much about the company. Oh well, wish me luck. Hopefully in the down time Ill get to check out some of the sight.

Cheers, lis

Take another one of the crazy pills & you'll be fine
Good Luck, confidence is 99% of it & if that doesn't work, flutter your eyelashes;)

thanks FionaNZ. it turned out to be a better trip then i thought. i am a worry-wart. true about the confidence thing.. alot of times you have to fake it to make it.

i didnt sleep much that whole week. i found a couple of people who love beer and we hit the town after training. it was great had some great portsmouth beer and took a reggae cruise ship around town. the only good/bad thing was that the whole town closes around midnight.

No problem Isas,

It was a great trip. I loved the town of Portsmouth, NH. It was so quaint and safe. The weather was beautiful and the people were oh-so nice. The hotel let us stay for a few extra hours after check out time so I took a cat nap before my flight home (7hours of plane ride and layovers). There are lots of beautiful breweries and my favorite was the dark cat stout... i believe that is what its called, but i had beer goggles at the time. it tasted like a light expresso.

the only thing about the trip was the flight. my knees start to ache somthing horrible during flights, and depending on the length of the flight my knees will hurt for a couple of days after. does anyone else have this problem?

the reggae band was fun. they played some marley and some salsa... it was interesting. my latin friend taught me how to merengue..or just pushed me around is more like it.

Over all it was great. I am about to hit happy hour after this post. and a round of beers/apple martini's on me, isa and beerman.

Lovelee! I am sorry I missed this post too! :(
Sounds like you had a good time though, and that is all that matters:)
Do you get to go back, or was it a one shot deal?
Do you get to travel often for work?
Sorry for so many questions...I feel like I have been away for ages)

Lovelee, take care but don't miss out some cute guys (like me) while on the business trip. Besides, when will you get back then?

Bon voyage,
Lee

Sorry to respond to the thread so late. I have been running around trying to find a dress for a wedding this lastweekend.

I got back last week. It was a good trip. I didnt meet any cute boy's like you cikusang. but i did meet some interesting folks from NY. one of em wanted to know where my room was. so my friends and i ditched them, to find some cooler people. puh hahah.

and to answer your questions cupcake, it was a one shot deal. i don't think i will be traveling for a little bit, but i guess there is a seminar in florida or something later. but that isn't for awhile.

portsmouth was a great little town. there is so much to do. whale watching, crusising the bars and little events all over town. it is a very date-iy place so bring someone you like to make out with. i unfortunately did not, so i just pretended.
