Quoting CupCake

Quoting IronChef

chocolate is only going to be served for dessert!

<scratching Iron OFF my Christmas card list.....hmpft!

OK! It can be a component but not the main ingredient. I.E. a mole)mexicna sauce with chiles, spices and ususally a good amount of CHOCOLATE!):), or a chocolate demi-glace, or something cocoa dusted.
Gotta give you a little lee-way CupCake

OOoohhhh, I had a great Morroccan dish of seared lamb chops sprinkled with unsweetened chocolate and cinnamon that was absolutely devine. It was served with ginger scented rice and braised haricot verte. (The only way to have green beans - young, tender and almost melting in your mouth!!!!)

Sounds heavenly. Gotta have some nice wine with that. Pinot Noir? Don't know if I would even have room for dessert after that. Maybe just some coffee. And a nice shot of Tia Maria, of course! Or maybe the ladies would prefer some Godiva?;)

Just hand over the Godiva and the rest is yours! ;)

My favourite meal would probably be Red Snapper with Mango Chutney and herb scented rice at the moment. Extremly delicious!!! Other seafood and fish dishes are yammy too, and of course everything I get twice a year at Mum's ;). Also, can't live without cheese and sushi!

A Pinot would go very nicely!!! CC can have the Godiva. I'll take the Tia Maria or a nice bit of smooth, aged brandy or port. Maybe some very, very well-aged scotch. Oh, the possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!!

i love the red snapper dish but as i can't eat fish i make it with chicken, yummmm !! i also love carbonara or sweet potatoes with grilled chicken and a home made sauce (normally whatever is in the cupboard, last time - mango, peppers, cherry tomatoes, onions, chilli sauce, garlic and white wine with a dash of dark rum)

Favourite - well thats really hard but I would have to say West Coast Whitebait Fritters

However food is a passion. I quite enjoyed last nights dinner.
Balsamic & Pistachio Oil roasted chicken breast served warm & sliced over a salad of mesclun, red capsicum, grated carrot, tomato, spring oninon, mung bean sprouts, pine nuts & pumpkin seeds with garlic & pistachio croutons... and some balsamic vinegar & olive oil drizzled over the top... oh with a lovely South Australian Shiraz

I took my mother out for her birthday lunch on the weekend, and my entree was truly amazing. It was..."Seared Scallops with Rice Noodles, Minced Duck Leg & Szechwan Pepper".

The restaurant was Catalina at Rose Bay in Sydney.
