Quoting snatterand

By the way, I think Cupcake isn't half as addicted to chocolate as I am. I'm serious, I'm really really bad!!! I have chocolate every day, without exceptions. My favourite meal is dark chocolate with a glass of red wine...

Care to wager? ;)
That is my favorite meal also...except I would skip the wine...it leaves more room for chocolate! :)

Canned peaches are still bad and I have a hard time eating cottage cheese unless you mix it with ketchup (without the peaches).

Isa, what the hell do you have cottage cheese mixed with
ketchup on it sounds positively disgusting, even if it was
with Watties Tomato Sauce..

I was very lucky, my Mum was/is an awesome cook, its where I learnt my initial love of cooking.. she used to cater all our parties in the 70-80's and even catered her own 2nd wedding which was in our new house that we had moved into a couple of days before, that has always impressed me no end!

Found something truly interesting for you chocoholics the other day -

cacao - not COCOA - are the beans of the tropical tree Theobroma cacao. Theobroma literally translated means 'Food of the Gods'! So CC and all you chocophiles - enjoy your mana from heaven with no remorse. And yes there are certain chemicals in their closely related to the experience you would get from smoking marijuanna although in very minute quantities but ... with the volume that CupCake is devouring I would hse say she is stoned!

Quoting CupCake

Do not laugh, this is in all seriousness.
Appitizer: M & M's
Main course: Twinkies and Ding Dongs
Desserts: Chocolate cake..preferably Death by Chocolate (chocolate crust, chocolate cake/brownie, chocolate pudding and whipped cream)
If I were requesting my last meal...that is what I would have...and would die a happy girl;)

What on earth is a ding dong....or shouldn't I ask ?

Quoting snatterand

Noemagosa, do you think it is possible for me as a vegetarian to go to Argentina without starving to death? I'm a bit worried...

Don't worry, you will convert! BUA HA HA HA HAHAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaa!

Seriously, I don't think I will! I never liked meat when I was a kid and I don't think I will now after being a vegetarian for 12 years... Though, since I'm one of those chocolate addicts, maybe I can survive by bringing loads of chocolate bars???

I've heard that cacao triggers some hormones that makes you feel like you're in love... Kind of wonderful thought actually. ;)

Hi Susanna,

I'm in the same boat, never really liked meat, and also managed to eat vegetarian whilst backpacking through South-/Centralamerica for 5 months. It wasn't easy and once I had a food poisoning from eating raw veggies, so just always make sure the food's cooked and done. And if you eat fish and seafood you can get some really nice dishes, too.
