Happy Birthday, Isa! Wishing Beerman would kiss you up from the long sleep in the fairy castle

May ALL your dreams come true,

Thank you Steff and Lee!!!!!!!

Steff - It was sunny but also 35C here, so I hid in the air conditioning and kept getting phone calls from friends!!! One came from Mulheim an der Rhur, where a couple of misplaced American friends live for the moment.

Lee - Every day is a fairytale and we definitely live in a "castle"!!! The kisses are the best too!!!!!!! Oh, and Beerman gave me a huge bouquet of flowers - they are beautiful!!!

Lil Beerman - AHEM....

Quoting Isadora

Ev sand Nikki - you weren't late! A friend and I rarely seem to have our schedules mesh well enough together to celebrate in a timely manner. We have finally agreed that birthdays extend out 2 weeks either side of the actual day so neither of us has to say belated in the birthday wishes!!! See, you're right on time!!! ;)

Thank you Brenda(n), Pete and Zindy!!!!!!!!!!!

See, you guys aren't late - you're right on time! I still have 10 days this side of my birthday to celebrate. In fact, tomorrow we will be in Chicago to do the birthday thing with Beerman's family. Extended birthday's are great - everyone should try it!!!!! ;)

Thank you all so very much (again)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Belated bDay Isa,

I hope you had a great time and lots of birthday cake.

Thank you Reece and Lisa!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a small cake (so far) of rich, dark chocolate and white butter cream frosting - yummy!!!!!

In a couple of hours we leave for Chicago, which is only 2-2.5 hours away, depending on traffic and what street festivals are happening today. Then it's celebrating with Beeman's family, Beerman making fried chicken for dinner (of course his mom will want to help...), a swim in the building's pool, opening pressies and having German chocolate cake!!!!!!!

See - spreading out this birthday thing is good!!!!

Today is also what my parents called my "Happiness Day". It was celebrated like a second birthday because it was the day the adoption was final and they got to bring me home. Instead of fun gifts, I would receive school clothes and necessity things. But, it's the thought that counted and it was always a way to show how appreciative my family was of the adoption process. ;)
