hi guys, flying to bkk on sunday and am feeling very excited. however, mixed up in the feelings of excitement are many different feelings of uneasiness! is this normal?

Its fairly normal, it wont take you too long to find your bearings... the uneasiness will disappear as you become more familiar with your new surroundings... don't worry about it and dont be intimidated by the constant hassling by the locals trying to make a living (particularly the tuk tuk drivers)...

could take my seat at work everytime!!!

but hey, let's face it, i can get really exhilarated while waiting away the months till the next flight, holiday, whatever. just for the last few days my mood's taking a turn downwards, possibly because i simply can't increase the level of excitement anymore and there's nothing left to do but wait ...

good thing is once i'm on the road there's not time for worries, too much fun , or was that too much chang???

its gonna be all good. most people you'll meet or be travelling with will be in the same boat, would have never been there before, no idea what to expect, all the usual stuff, you'll enjoy it. its probably a similar feeling to leaving (ending your travels).
