I didn't even get the e-mail notification that Bubba had posted in his blog about Chicago - and I'm still subscribed to it!!! So, my comments about Chicago and beer where a day late and a dollar short. Ain't that always the way...

When you're traveling with companions, your time isn't all your own. Or maybe the thought of visiting the Isas was just too scary... (It could happen... My brother-in-law's wife is afraid of the serial killers that live in large communes in the cornfields and jump out at you at stop signs on rural roads. ) And, Bubba's two months into a three year trip so time is fleeting!! Of course, the thought of going to the state fair and the mustard museum could have just been overwhelming - too much activity and no high buildings to climb...

Bubba - TOFU???? You actually ordered tofu??? Chicago - known for it's steak houses and rib joints (not to mention China Town and Greek Town) - what are we going to do with you???!!! ;)

If the crazy law where you can only spend 90 days in the US wasnt in force time wouldnt be a problem.

Yes isa TOFU yuck how can anybody eat that stuff loads is beyond me.
Jills turned veggie on the trip so for once it was her choice and simon and i decided to give it a go.
Veggie i dont mind doing but vegan hmm i dont think so.
Anyway sorry i missed coming to see you. That will teach me to fall for a woman and spend extra days sorting that out although its still a mess. But with what i saw in chicago its one place i really really want to visit again and possibly move to.
Im now off to Memphis so will catch you all soon

YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!! And, yes, there are those wacky visa restrictions... They just haven't figured out that you are Bubba Reece - Intergalactic Vodka Bounty Hunter and those restrictions don't apply!!!

I hope you read this before reaching Memphis and eating dinner... Memphis - home to some of the best BBQ ribs, chicken wings and soul food around!! Check out Beale Street and maybe even eat at Isaac Hayes' restaurant. (Remember the theme to "Shaft"? That Isaac Hayes.) Jill can go for the red beans and rice.

Who knew serial killers preferred commune life??

And Reece, that American Gothic painting in your photo gallery is crooked. Really, you could have straightened it out first. You were right there!
