Again - very confused...

What is "minging beer"?????

Bud isn't lager - it's "pretend" lager. Okay, Beerman says it's really a lager, just not a good lager. However, it is good for killing slugs in the garden - but then, that's probably because it has alcohol in it and you know what drunks slugs can be...

That was Nikki who said Bud was like water. I just said they filtered it through Clydesdales. What alcohol isn't absorbed by the horse remains in "filtered" product. So, yeah, it has alcohol - not much - but some.

All american beer that isnt lager.
Does it matter how much alcohol it has in it.Its alcohol none the less.Just because certain beers have more alcohol in them doesnt make them better than others.

Thanks! Now I know what you mean by the term. I honestly had no clue!!

In reality, the amount of alcohol has very little to do with how good a beer tastes. So, I agree with you completely there. It's the ingredients and process that make the difference between a tasty beer and one that is just plain bad.

I'm picking on Bud because I'm married to a brewmaster. Plain and simple. Though I have drunk it, I have never cared for their product(s). Budweiser and Miller have large marketing/advertising budgets. With the money they spend to "sell" their product - they could also sell swamp water and people would buy it. Again, plain and simple. Personally, I am the type to forego the Big Boys beers and try something local or one I've not had before. Other people prefer to drink what they know.

Finally, I'm picking on you because I can and because I like you. Plain and sinple once more. I know you will always come back with something! ;)

Beerman runs screaming off the second story catwalk outside his office....horrified at what is being posted.......

FLAVOR IS THE KEY TO A GOOD BEER, NOT THE ALCOHOL CONTENT.

But hey, I'm just an impartial observer here...
