Hi everone,

If you stay in, for example, the Tropicana Hotel, would you be allowed to spend a day at the pool of Mandalay Bay? Are there maybe entrance fees, or are they for guests only?

Thanks!

Peetje,

You are not allowed to go to other hotel pools. Most hotels are pretty strict about this and have people check room keys. But you can always try, the mandalay bay does have a nice pool. The trop has a swim up bar and a swim up blackjack table too. But they are only open untill labor day weekend, the first weekend in september.

Hmmm, I am confused. Tropicana is on Playa Los Muertos beach -I stayed there twice-in southside. What is the connection with Mandalay Bay-where at-

I mean the Tropicana Hotel & Casino and the Mandalay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. I am not even sure where Playa Los Muertos beach is ;-)

Crazier things have happened in Vegas so I wouldn't rule out trying.

I can tell you this, any of the hotel/casinos will gladly take your money at the tables.

I seem to recall that you can pay an entry fee to get into the hotels pools. I think some people I know did it to go to the pool at the Hard Rock Cafe (which apparently is very nice).
