Changing flight numbers after a crash...

I was looking at flights from Toronto-Paris return this week, and noticed that the daily non-stop from Paris to Toronto is still called Air France 358, which was the flight number that crashed a few weeks ago in Toronto.

That got me wondering whether airlines change the numbers after crashes, especially the deadly ones. I did some quick checking - there's no more Swiss Air 111 and no more Korean Air 007. TWA doesn't exist anymore, so no TWA 800.

Anyone have any insight on this?

A lot of airlines don't have seat no.13, but no idea about flight numbers. Probably quite a significant (and costly) change to make for an airline I would imagine.
