I think it was a cyclical thong, though

Does this have anything to do with having you "panties in a bunch", or just a type of underwear that throws off your sleep cycle?

AHAHAHAHA! That was the first thing that popped into my head! :)

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Good it makes too exhausted I can sleep for 18 hours of the day. Bad when it triggers my migraine. :(

I usually dont get affected by jet lag when I arrive at a particular destination overseas. Flying back home I am usually a bit sluggish for a couple of days and then I actually find my sleep patterns become better than before I had been on the trip. Its kind of like the travelling gives me a chance to reset things and get everything in order. The only problem is that about a month after that, I go back to my old ways and find it a real struggle to get up when I need to... leaving myself all of ten minutes to shower, eat breakie, get dressed and get out of the house in order to be at work close to when I should be there...

I've found that travelling west is never a problem (when you're travelling with time) whereas going east is a real pain.

going east to Asia on holidays - easy

coming back west to the UK - jet lag for a week or two.

I don't think I was affected much during my last holiday. I had no trouble adjusting to the different time zones, thanks to my already screwed-up lifestyle and sleeping habits.

Do you think that has anything at all to do with the fact that you're going on holiday...? ;)
