A few days ago I booked and paid for a flight using lan.com. At the same time, I also reserved another flight from Buenos Aires to Auckland on a particular date in February without having to pay for it. I even chose my seat on the flight online.
Now, I'm not sure if I am committed to this flight or not. I'll eventually get around to ringing the helpline number, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.
Is it possible to cancel an online reservation without losing any money? They have my credit card details from the other flight I paid for.
If you've only reserved the flight, I don't think it should cost you anything to cancel, offline or online. It's pretty impressive you'd be able to pick your seat already though without actually booking or paying a deposit!
Yeah it is Sam! That's why I started getting worried.
I dont understand it really. I mean, when I log into my account now it displays the flight I've paid for and underneath the flight I have reserved. There is an option beside it to Pay, but I'm not sure even how long they would hold that seat for you before you would have to pay.
I suppose I should just get off my ass and ring the helpline
