I've completed my 37 days trip plan to Eastern Europe but have a few problems.
1. How long it will take for me to make a trip from Lviv, Ukraine to Suceava,Romania?
2. What is the best transport along this route?
3. Or is there any other border to cross from Lviv to Romania (maybe on NorthEast of Romania-around Satu Mare,Romania)?
Thanks in advance.
There is a direct night train every other night (on the nights it doesn't run, you can do the same journey in the same time, but with a change and long-ish wait during the night) and on certain days, also a direct day train (which only runs once or twice a week during holidays, taking people to the bulgarian resorts). Trains are about 13hours.
Buses i don't know about, but if there are, it will probably involve much faffing around and probably a change at the border.
The only other routes take you more East (via Moldova, transit visa required) or if your aiming for Satu mare, via Chop and Debrecen in Hungary - and probably another change as well, maybe in Valea lui M -which as connections are hit and miss will take anywhere between 13 and about 19 hours.
Thank you very much Gelli. Your help is much appreciated. So, now I can continue with my plan.
