Hi all !!!
My name is Rocío, i am peruvian. I invite you to come to Perú, the country of the incas.
There are many places that are waiting for you, places such as: Cusco, in where you can visit Machu
Picchu, the lost city of the incas. Arequipa, in where you can visit the Colca Valley. Also Huaraz,
Cajamarca, Puno(Titicaca Lake),Trujillo, Nazca, Chiclayo and other beautiful places.
If you have any question or maybe you need a description of a specific place, do not hesitate in asking me, I will be glad to help you.
Welcome to TP, you will find many of us who want to visit Peru & know more about the must see's & also the off the beaten track things.. like myself I will be in Peru late around nov/dec, so any information about good places to stay would be great.
Fiona, are you going to do the Inca Trail? I've found this tour operator that seem to be really good, environmentally friendly and everything:
We too are going to be in Peru in November or so! Want to grab a beer somewhere...?
Susanna I have to admit to being a little on the lazy side (plus a pathalogical fear of heights..) so I am not going to do the trek. I'm intending to take a train to Agaus Calientes, take the bus up & stay a night in the town. And thats a definate yes to the Beer
