Big cities... LA, New York, Miami. Rest are all too boring to spend an entire week!

Gotte be more specific, friend. What are you looking for. Any thoughts as to size, nightlife, ethnicity? Its a pretty big country. Off the top of my head - SAN FRAN. Just moved back to the Bay Area and lovin'it.

When are you coming to the US? Weather will rule out some cities depending on the season--or make them more attractive. Give us a clue here and then we can provide better advice.

SAN FRANCISCO!! I live in Sacramento (capital of California) and go to SF almost every weekend, and it never gets boring - once I think I've seen it all, I discover something new. One of the nice things about SF is the lack of smog - LA is a great city and all, but wayyy too much pollution. New York is also an excellent place to go, but if I had to choose one city to visit I'd say San Francisco all the way.

Whatever you do, do not go to New Orleans now. Its under quite few feet of water now , and mainly evacuated. Well, I suppose you could go to help the red cross and colst guard, but dont count on a hotel.
