My friend and I are spending three days in Hong Kong after Christmas - not long I know !!! We'd really appreciate any hints or tips as to where to go and what to see to make the absolute most of our time there!!!
Any help you can give us would be fab !
You will probally have a guide book but in Lonely Planet Hong Kong it has 1-2 or 3 day + one week suggested tour itineraries of where to go and maybe you might be able to read it in a libary.
Have a good trip

hi, i visited hongkong a while back, hope i can b of help. if u are opting for budget-visit, there are some cheap ones, amongst them is one called chap... mansionns, sorry cant remember. however, it seems a bit messy there, so if u guys dun mind the fuss.
hongkong is mostly bout shopping and food. transport is relatively easy there as they have a train system, operating till 1am on somedays. however, if u are thinking of taking a cab, u should make sure that u get someone to write down the name of the place in a piece of paper as most ppl there can only converse in cantonese and mandarin. and the cab there are coloured according to the zones that they drive in, therefore, public transport might be easier for u.
shops are usually opened tilll realli late to midnight.. , except shopping centres.
they have several markets and they have 2 streets dedicated--> ladies market and sports street. these two streets will take up one shopping evening till late. if u are looking for cheap buys and stuff, factory outlets there are a plenty.
soho is their main clubbing belt but it is located on the main island, so transport might cost more.
dim sum, soups, brisket (but has a strong herbal smell) noodles, smelly beancurd and soya beancurd are MUST tries there. and their famous bo luo bao r available onli early in the mornings at bout 7 am...
hope these are of help
