Thanks guys, I'm glad to hear that I'm not abnormal...

Being abnormal is a subjective thing. ;) And, who's to say we aren't all abnormal??

Isa returns to the conversation with herself to discuss the possibilities of being abnormal. Isa takes a vote and counts the raised hand. Nope, Isa is not abnormal.

Normal is boring.

I lived alone in my place and I tried talking to some real people but they can't give me better answers to some of my topic. Also, I got tired talking to walls and floors coz they nver answered me back. I tried talking to myself and I get lotsa answers/opinions. And guess what, I also find myself laughing at me. I believe that isn't being abnormal, just being reflective, analyzer, and alone (but not lonely).

I think the only time I talk to myself is when I am having a pity party and I need someone to make me snap out of it...yeah, me. Or maybe when I am working out and I need that extra COME ON! GIVE ME ONE MORE REP! Now, about talking to myself in another language...hmmm, you may need to look into that But I am sure there is nothing to worry about...

I do that too!!! Laugh at myself!!! That's probably even more common than the talking... Guess that's because I catch myself doing silly and/or stupid stuff frequently. Such as searching for my keys in 30 minutes before I find them in... my hand. A bit absent-minded sometimes...

Funny thread!
Ususlly I don't talk to myself, don't know why. Maybe that's because I'm very rarely on my own... But when I do talk I do it in English! Now that's the only possibility for me to have some oral practice...

OH yeah! I OFTEN talk to myself! Usually I make up a scenario in my head, as if I was going to meet a friend and then I imagine the dialog... All this by myself! Isn't it a proof of active imagination?!

As for the language, forget it, my head is a total fruit salad!

Yeah, that's probably why! Oral practice. Good point there!

I like talking to myself, especially in a room full of people watching me.
