is las vegas worth going to considering i will be under 21 when im there? is there still things to see and do that dont matter whether in 21 or not? costs is no real issue, although nothing crazy and im not set on how long im there - hence i would like to find out whether a day is enough or i should stay a few days! cheers
Well, since you have to be 21 to drink and 21 to gamble, I guess my question would be, "How do you feel about just going to shows, shopping, and hanging around the pools?
Generally, if you are under 21, I would suggest not going to Las Vegas. A few years back they tried to promote Vegas for families--but that failed miserably, and now all the places cater strictly to adults-particularly young adults (21-35).
One thing you might consider is just spending a day or two in Las Vegas on your way to some of the key scenic attractions close-by--Boulder Dam (also known as Hoover Dam), the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Sedona (Arizona), Moab (Utah), and Monument Valley. As I've said in other posts here, I consider Las Vegas the most interesting place to visit in the US--even if you're just there for a day.
I would pass on Vegas until you turn 21.
