My plan is to go on a road trip across Canada (towards the west) and also the North Western part of the US. Not to sure how long this trip will be for or when it will begin. My hopes are the summer of 2006. Has anyone done anything like this? Anything would be of help.
I know a few people that have done this trip in moving from eastern to western Canada. Are you planning on driving? It is quicker to drive via the U.S. (south around lake Michigan) than it is to drive North (around Lake Superior), but if you are doing it for fun, the scenery might be nicer in Northern Ontario.
As for time, if you just wanted to drive it without taking in the sites, you can probably do it in 3-5 days (depending on how much you drive in a day, how fast, what route and if it's just you driving). Obviously, taking your time you can take as long as you want.
Well myself and 2 friends have just driven from vancouver to quebec before heading to the US via Boston.Check out my blog for details or if you need any information leave me a message in my inbox.
