Hi Isadora

Thanks for the greeting and I guess being new here I must be doing something wrong. I tried 3 times compleating all of the steps for the Travel Helper and nothing seemed to register. I posted the thread thinking that as in some forums you have to make a certain amount of posts before you can go up a level with the participation on the boards.

I will try the procedure again and see whay happens.

Regards From Phuket

Richard & Megumi;)

Hi Richard and Megumi and welcome!!!

Just want to check on the travel helper settings. Are you getting any errors when you submit the form at http://www.travellerspoint.com/my_travelhelper.cfm?

I just trialed it and it's working for me, but I see that you aren't registered yet as a travel helper for Thailand.

Let me know if I can help or if you're getting any errors when submitting the form. We can always use good travel helpers for Thailand, tons of requests come through :)

Cheers,

Sam

Hi Beerman

You seem to like the idea of diving in Thailand and I have to say that after 35 years underwater that we truely have some world class divesites in the Phuket, Phi Phi, Similan Islands and the Hin Deang sites in the South. For a description of the available divesites reached via daytrip boats from Phuket you could take a look at http://www.phuket-scuba-diving.com/daytrips.htm

Due to your namesake I ust thought I would mention that an ice cold Thai beer after a day of diving is also something to look forward to.

Regards From Phuket

Richard & Megumi

I've removed the spam flag that was put on the last post, but I do think the post is bordering on the limits of what's allowed in these forums. Just keep this in mind for future postings as there's nothing more annoying to readers than concealed advertising...

Whoa, thanks a lot for the thorough opinion and info about Phuket! and i have specific dates when i will be arriving there. i will be arriving in Phuket on Nov 1st, departing Nov 5th (11/1 - 11/5) and after that i'll be staying in other parts of Thailand, bangkok, pattaya etc etc.

so elephant trekking, i definately want to try that out, cant wait to get there

i was just in thailand 2 weeks ago, but in Nov is weather normally nice? or is it rain season?

any tips would help. thanks a lot :)

Late november and early December is better if you can postpone the trip.
