Hi! About a month ago I wrote I was going to Las Vegas and was looking
for a good place for a 2 day trip. Well I ended up picking Death Valley
and it was amazing!

I will post some photos soon, but I can tell you it was so beautiful there.
I stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch (about $125 a night) but they do
have camping also. They have a great fresh water swimming pool, tons
of places to hike, tennis, golf, and horseback riding. I did the 1 hour
horseback ride which was very nice.

Death Valley is below sea level and gets really hot in the summer so the
best time to go is March/April. It was sunny and in the high 80's when I
was there.

Anyway thanks to those that gave me suggestions!

Was there in 2002. To be frank, for day trips from LV, Death Valley is my only choice!!;)

Look forward to your photos!!!
