For the last month or so at work my computer has been acting up - very slow, crashing every so often, lots of pop-ups, my homepage just suddenly changed...and so on.
It's frustrating but I just ignored these changes, mainly because I dont want to draw the pervy IT guy here at work on me.
Now I keep getting msgs from Microsoft Internet Explorer saying that my comp is infected with Spyware and that it could be tracking my credit card details, passwords, emails, etc (YIKES!) It's telling m to download something called Spyblocs.
When I started to that Spybot Search and Destroy, which is what we use here at work, popped up...so I aborted the scan.
Dont know what to do
Sorry i'm of no help-but maybe just maybe as a last resort your'll have to get the pervy IT guy to take a look-lol! Oh i would love to meet these people you work with-it's very amusing to an outsider you know!! he! he! You have some great stories! claasic!

Samsara, format it as I got one last month. Can't even change my wallpaper...what about yours?
Unfortunately, it's a call to the IT perve guy I think. Either that or you'll be spending a lot of time mucking around trying to fix it.
Go look for pervy's help.
Just remind him to keep his hands off your hardware and software
Ok, I just downloaded Microsoft AntiSpyware and removed the Spyware from my comp.
Very proud of self.
Although, I still cant get my old homepage back and there are still pop-ups. Grrrr
Now, I'm all paranoid that I need to change my credit card and bank account details. I do all my banking on-line mainly from this computer...
