I am planning a gap year trip and would like to spend a month in South America. Am looking at starting in Rio, flying over to Cusco, doing the Inca Trail, travelling overland to La Paz then flying down to Santiago and spending somet time in chile. Do you know of any good flight companies that would do a flight from Rio to Cusco, then another flight from La Paz to Santiago? Any advice you can give would be much appreciated as need to keep my costs down as much as possible. Thanks.
1)Try links at the top right hand of this page
2)go Travel Site by Topics
3)try transportation/guides and magazines/destinations
Hope this helps but when I was traveling I just went into a travel agents in the main towns and I think their prices where very reasonable.
Some guides say you only get cheap flights if you book your flights before you go so check out "gap year" on links above but then its organised!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or do a google;airticket around South America
Have a great trip
