Heeey, this sounds like a fun time. I don't suppose anyone would be passing through northwest IA would they? Driving or hitching? (I hate hitching by myself!) Let me know!

I booked my flight yesterday (not paid yet, but I'm not anticipating any real changes to this schedule). I'm arriving in Montreal at 9:05PM on the Friday, presuming I can make the very tight connection in LA. Looking forward to it

Anne, are you booked at the St. Malo?? I have it written down that way, but wanted to make sure!

Isa throws the bones so Pete will sprout (temporary) wings and be able to fly through the airport to make that tight connection in LA!

Yes I am...but I was actually wondering if I should stay some place else that is closer to everyone. Tina, is St. Malo close to BW Europa and Hurley's? A 30 minute walk is ok with me :).

Thanks Anne! Either post here or send me a PM if you change lodgings! Thanks again!

Isa hands Anne an apple martini just because...

Slurp! Thanks Isa. I needed that...;)

Du Fort and Drummond are less than a Metro stop apart.
Take a look at this map - see where the star is? That's the St. Malo, which is just above St. Catherine street. If you go north-east just a few streets, you'll find Drummond. The Hotel Europa is on Drummond just below St. Catherine Street. I'd say it's a quick 5 minute walk between each.

Ah! Thanks Tina! Thats close enough for me.

For all those of you planning to make your way to Montreal (or for the merely curious!), here's a list of some of the most popular attractions around the city. This may help you get a better idea of what you'd like to see and do - and it will give us an idea of how to set up a (very, very flexible) itinerary for the weekend.

No problems for those who'd like to go off on their own and meet-up later. The Isas and I though it would be a good way to make the most of everyone's time here if we put together a general plan.

So take a look and explore what's avaiable - and please take a sec to post what's of interest to you! We'll keep you posted...
