Great, now I have to bring my whole closet!!

It was 30 degrees C and can't-sleep humid on Tuesday, and today I'm in long sleeves and my hands are freezing. Go figure!

I will bring my swimsuit and my snow boots.

LOL. You won't need none of those, but you should probably pack everything else in between. I was wearing a T-shirt, light jacket, long jeans and sandals tonight, it was cold-ish (compared to couple of days ago) and rainy and I was just fine.

Greetings Once Again!!!

Sorry for my delay in posting this information... (Having both CupCake and Pardus visiting has taken my attention away from posting, but not from trying to sort out the planning!!)

After reading everyone's replies, comments, etc - things have fallen into place in this fashion:

Friday Evening Flocking:

Hurley's Irish Pub - beginning at 8:00pm (for those who have already arrived by then) and continuing until they kick us out or close the bar. For those who are arriving Friday evening - we'll be waiting for you at Hurley's after you have checked in to your hotel.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Flocking:

Eggspectations - The time has not been decided, but would 9:30am be too early for everyone?? We have have 11 people confirmed right now, though some of the Montrealers may not attend the breakfast. There are several "Greater Montreal" locations and I will follow up with Tina to get the address for the one closest to us all. We will probably have to make reservations (if they take them) for a larger group.
Please check this thread later today for the correct location.

Eggspectations

We thought that the day plans and dinner plans for Saturday could be solidified over breakfast.

Saturday Night Flocking

For those interested, D'Arc will be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe Saturday night. Tina's friend plays bass for the band and we thought following her over there could prove to be fun. Well, not the following so much as watching the band...

Sunday Flocking: - We felt Sunday would take care of itself. Most of us will be leaving Montreal at some point during the day, but those who have time to meet up again, would make those arrangements at some point on Saturday.

Comments and a breakfast time (if 9:30 is not good) - post them now!!

Thanks everyone!!!

Sounds good to me !

FYI, Pete and me are going to be staying in Montreal till the Friday after. It'll be work, work, work, but hey, we probably can fit some beers in too if anyone is up for it and around :)

We will absolutely have to reserve for Saturday morning - so I'll call to book 11 people at 9:30. Just post here if you're not happy with the time or place...

And I found out that my friend is playing at 11 Saturday night at the Hard Rock. If you're staying downtown, you will have a very easy walk back to the hotel. I'd suggest we go to Hard Rock after supper (unless we go the senior citizen way and eat at 5) to get seats and the waiter's undivided attention.

More to come...

T - if you haven't reserved yet - make it for an even dozen, just to be safe.... If we only have 8 - they can always take a table away or such. Better to have enough room than not.

Hey, I'll just show them my AARP card and say the rest of you are my children! I wonder if the Hard Rock will give AARP discounts....

AARP = American Association of Retired Persons

Wow, this is the first time EVER I go somewhere and EVERYTHING is planned out for me! Feels goooooood!!! This sounds like an awesome plan, the night out, the breakfast, the band, etc etc etc. I am easy to please though .

Thanks for the hard work Isa, really looking forward to it! I shall see you all there Friday, as I arrive around 4 pm. Peace

Quick silly question...are US dollars widely accepted in Canada?
