Congrats Ali!!!

Just remember, they won't let you take a whale home on the plane... They have a tendency for motion sickness...

Have a great time and keep us posted!!! You did take that post card list with you, didn't you??? ;)

Your on vancouver island!? Great choice!

Just the other day I went sea kayaking and saw a group of three or four orca whales. So I imagine you will see some if you take one of those whale tours from the harbour. Good luck!

Wow, sounds lovely. Don't forget to take pics of the whales.

Have lots of fun, eat lots & drink lots!

Hey!Hey! Saw a pod of roughly 24 orcas. What a buzz! Now to see some moose, caribou, bears, eagles, otters, etc. Also saw a Squirrel at Butchart Gardens, how cute is that? Just love the night sky-line of Victoria, staying at the Delta, so view is fantastic. And how cute are the ferries that take you around the harbour! Mrs. Isa, confession time, left home in a tiss coz I slept in and did leave addresses home, I know, slap me,beat me up, but will rectify the problem when I sort out my email problem from home, Promise!

Hello, everyone!Just pulled away from the dock in vancouver, Alaska here I come! What a marvellous time I have had so far. Have been privileged to see a grizzly bear, albiet behind an electric fence at the top of Grouse mountain overlooking Vancouver. Unfortunately, the view wasn't too good with all the smoke from the peat bog fire.We also saw timber wolves and the most marvellous wooden sculptures done with chain saws. If any of you ever get the opportunity to cross the Rockies on The rocky mountaineer train, do so ,but do it first class! You will not regret it! The food was out of this world and the scenery was indescibable!!!! Is there still a real world out there!! Catch up with you all from either furthur north or Hawaii!!!
