Hey,

I have a gap on my blog when you go into it. Does anyone know how I can rid of it?

Hmm, I couldn't see the 'weird' space. Where is it on the blog exactly?

Peter,

Tested with Internet Explorer and Firefox. In IE, the empty space exists after the header, and stretches until after the right navigation bar. I remember I informed you about this when I tested it out while the blogs are still under development. Works fine in FF though.

Hi Hien

You're exactly right about the space and where it stretches to.

Does this mean that anyone wishing to access my blog through IE will see this space? If there is nothing I can do about it then it's fine. I just wondered whether I'd accidentally created it myself.

Out of interest to you guys, most of the people I know use IE to view my site.

Thanks for you help on this

Hrm, I distinctly recall having fixed that once before.
I'll get on it if you don't beat me to it, Peter.

Ok, I found the issue - text-indent on an entry where an image was used was one pixel too large for IE's crappy idea of a rendering engine. I submitted the fix, and Peter should be able to push that live as soon as he sees it.

Thanks Sander :)

Changes are live now, so problem should be fixed. Funny, we do actually test these layouts in IE (as it is by far the most popular still).. somehow it must have slipped through.. Thanks for pointing it out Helen! Sander fixed up another layout bug as well, which was causing scrollbars to appear on some entries with images.

Cheers,
Peter
