Hi everyone my names Anthony. I'm from LONDON ENGLAND!
Havn't been travelling before, was made redundant from my last job and lost nearly £4k on nothing special. Not sure how that happened but it goes quickly. Should of gone away then and I regret it but when I make the money and get half a chance I'm outta here. Although it would be great to meet new people along the way, and I'm sure I will, i'm lucky to have a friend who wants to go away as badly as I do. Just feel trapped in this place at the moment d'know what I mean? Might go New Zealand or Australia because I get the impression that the USA is a bit expensive. Dream of driving from New York to California though and listening to great rock music. Could it get any better than that? TAKE ME DOWN TO THE PARADISE CITY WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN & THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY... :-)
Welcome to TP
99% of us here can probably relate to what you're saying, so you're in good company, I'd say!
yeah Rock the GnR! nice!!!!
Welcome to TP!!
It's amazing how quickly money can pass through your hands... But, when you have a goal - saving it becomes a bit easier. Depending on your requirements while traveling - the US may not be as expensive as you might think. No matter what you decide to do, there will be lots of people here, ready to help answer any questions you may have.
Another warm TP welcome to you Anthony!
Sounds like a great travel plan there though! Good Luck and Happy Trails!
Welcome to TP. Get Saving, travel is one of life's must do's. NZ is definately worth visiting, you can probably get a working holiday visa for here as well. Although NY to LA in a mustang convertible listening to great rock, and nothing else matters
and nothing else matters
Yeah. Metallica and G'n'R. Definitely the way to go.
Welcome and Cheers. 'Wherever you may roam' I am sure that you can get a lot of advice from the forums here. I myself just finished a cross-country trip from Virginia to Cali and got a lot of great advice for my trip. I can definitely help with any questions you might have about things to look for and places to stay. I must admit, Tennessee has the most well-appointed rest stops in the country!
Thanks everyone and I'll throw in metallica for sure
