Every couple of years, I hear an album that slowly but surely drags me in like a drug. As I progress song by song through the album, I find that I enjoy each song so much that I get impatient for it to finish so I can hear the next one.

I bought "The Hush" by Texas a couple of years back, and am now just listening to it, and what a gem it is.

What album does it for you?

Abbey Road, every time.

Other than that, I'm one of those "one-song" listeners. I'll listen to the one or two tracks I really like over and over, and never (or rarely) bother with the rest of the album. I've probably missed out on a lot of great stuff, but I just can't help it.

good topic, completly know what you are talking about.

Tway brought up the Beatles, but for me its the white album. Bealtles: Beatles is so masterpiece.

others: Dark Side, Zooropa, Harvest Moon, Meridian, and the first album I ever bought with my own money...... Appetite for Distruction

The newest one to do that to me would be: The Decemberists.

Every album we own by Steely Dan.
Every album we own by the Beatles
Every Picture Tells A Story - Rod Stewart
Tumbleweed Connection - Elton John
Harvest - Neil Young

Isa stops now because she could keep going and going and going... Ah, old vinyl - nothing like it!!!

For me it's anything with Eva Cassidy. Haven't really got the years on me to build up a big music library.. But I'm working on it.

I change my mind about this question all the time. Damn my tiny little brain.

Right now, i'd love to listen to Gomez' first album, "Bring it On".
