Again, a generalization. That is what is so 'wrong' about this thread...it is full of generalizations. Do not judge an entire country by ONE person. And how can you say 'will not'? All it takes is one person with a bomb and an agenda.

It is called an opinion. I could however suggest that Amut the Muslim at the park or even God told me to temp your distain for anything that is not totally and overwhelmingly micro analysed. I build my opinions based on many different pieces of information and experiences around me, may seem arrogant. Too Bad, get redfaced about it.

I truly beleive that Germany is not in threat of a martyr seeking Islamic Fundelmentalist attack. Moreover, I would feel completly safe from this type of threat anywhere in Germany. Now, as King Brendan has order I should get back to work... which recently has been terribly neglected.

NEWS, NEWS, NEWS..THIS JUST IN: George W. claims responsibility for lack of attention early on in NO. The words actually fell from his lips.

Everything I have typed has also been my opinion. And really now...must everything you type be a personal attack? Did you mother not teach you any manners? Your too rude to have a serious disscusion with.

What does this have to do with travel? If you are looking for forums to chat about how much you dislike America I am sure there are other web-sites that might be more condusive to this. There are all sorts of hate forums that might be more suitable to these slanderous and cynical threads.

If you have something to say just say it! Don't use random quotes, taken out of context to try and make your point. Be your own person and state things as you see them.

I'm with IronChef on this one. I'm sick to death of people's mindless, misguided, broken-record sounding, "hate-style" rants about the US and George Bush.

Why do they have nothing to say on the military governments in Africa who are directly contributing to approx 40,000 people starving to death everyday? Or how about the Communist government in China that is still locking up and torturing people who disagree with it? Hmmm, I hear that women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to work, drive a car, or go out in public without a male chaperone - great freedom they've got. The world is full of death, destruction and injustices, but none of that seems to matter to those filled with hate towards the US.

Um, hello james, i think its more like the US and our australian rightwinged bush sucking government that doesnt care about the thousands of ppl who are starving to death in africa and the persecution of people in Zimbabwe by their leader and the injustuces that take place there. Its not that people who can actually see through Bush stammering and stuttering comments, dont care about these horrible things!! Of course we do, and the governments of wealthy nations such as the Bush and Howard administration should be doing more, rather than embarking on a pointless war for oil. Not to mention the poor people of Louisana that could have done with ALOT more assistance!!! Open your eyes go buy a copy of the socialist alliance newspaper and maybe then you will see that ppl who can see what these governments are like DO CARE ABOUT OTHER ATTROCITIES IN THE WORLD

Also:

- Who sells the weapons to the warlords of the world?
- Who is one of Saudi Arabia's largest allies?
- Who supports the Chinese government the most by having everything they own made there?

All of the things mentioned are linked, and all of them have a common theme.

1) The Russians, Ukrainians, Chinese, French, British, just about everybody who wants to make a buck....

2) Just about everybody gets their oil from the Saudis. I'm more interested in the reverse relationship. Who is one of America's largest allies in the middle east? The Saudis have their hand in a lot of American politicians.

3) I can't remember the source, but just recently the Chinese economy reached the point where more than 50% of the growth was due to privately owned enterprises. And that trend is expected to continue.
