I am going on a round the world trip via LA, Fiji, NZ, Oz, Signapour and Hong Kong.

What I really need help with is, what to take travelling should I use a back pack or hodall.

I read in some places you need ankle high boots????? Do I need these for OZ or will my trainers be ok

I am going to use greyhound to travel down the east coast and am not sure if I need to buy a rucksack.

Clothes I'm just really not sure.

Any information would be really really useful

Thanks Dee

Hi Dee,

I´d definitely recommend you to do the RTW with a backpack, it´s much easier to carry around. With the shoes it also depends really if you want to do some bush hiking along the east coast of Australia, if not I´d say trainers will be fine. And last but not least the clothes, dunno what time of the year you will be travelling, but I´d bring a bit of everything, but not to much as you always end up buying a lot.

Hope this helps,

I agree with Steff... if you plan to do any hiking or go bush at any stage, then bring boots, but if you dont then do not bother with them...
