So close Anne......:) Yes, the Q this case is the code name of the gadget master from the James Bond movies. One of my favourite movie characters of all time.

"Q Gives Bond Walther PPK"

In The Spy Who Loves Me, Q is referred to as Major Boothroyd. This is the first time his real name is mentioned. Although Fleming's Q and Boothroyd were two different people, film audiences across the world now knew Q as Major Boothroyd. Taking a step back to 1962 and Dr. No, we recall that the man who gave Bond his Walther PPK was in fact Major Boothroyd played by Peter Burton. He would have continued the role if he were not unavailable for the filming of From Russia With Love. As a result, Desmond Llewelyn got the role and movie history was made.

See how unfamiliar I am with guns??? I think this is quite unfair and being that everyone here in the US sues for everything and anything, I am going to see you for mental stress...yeah, thats right...MENTAL STRESS!!!

I will request for Pete and Sam to put together a judiciary committee to oversee your actions Mr. Q and I certainly hope that extensive measures are taking against you in my behalf. Shame! Shame! You will be hearing from my attorney shortly...

I am going to see you...

And for the record, I am not going to see you, I am going to sue you! See what you have done to me??

Edit: Fixed

Okay - since Jun has figured out the puzzle - does she get to give Q a break and come up with the next one??? (Congrats again, J!)

I knew I should have checked on hangman - Bond movies are #1 for me!! I miss all the good ones!!! ("I suppose you expect me to talk..." "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.") Isa wanders off and pledges not to miss any more hangman puzzles.

[ Edit: Bad typing... ]

I was going to say, you should probably see a doctor for that sort of thing, Anne. I'm an engineer, not a doctor....

"Walter PPK, 7.62 millimeters, special issue, British intelligence, double-oh designation, licenced to kill...."

I love how Bond never actually manages to kill anyone important with that gun, always runs out of bullets, and then has to karate chop his way out.....
