Hi All,
I will be flying into singapoer airport on the 30th of November then catching a connecting flight to Bali. I will only have 50 Mins to make the connection. I am very worried about this, has anyone here have any experiance with this airport. I suppose the only good thing is that both my arrival and departure are is Terminal 1. Hopefully i will bw ok but if my flight from the UK to Singapore is delayed i will miss 3 days out of 7 in Bali :(. Also even if i do make it, what are the chances of my bags making it. Whats the fastest successful connection people have made?

Thanks
Derek

I don't think you have anything to worry about, the airport itself is one of the best I reckon and it's actually not that big, I made a connection from Bangkok to Chennai (India) in under an hour...

chill you'll be fine!

If youve booked it as one flight and are simply in transit, your luggage will be sent directly to your connection and you will have plenty of time. A shame because its a pleasure hanging around Changi Airport, you could go for a swim on the roof or make use of the free cinema or internet for a while.

i've had to do something similar at Singapore Airport and even had time for a bite to eat as it is really easy to get from A to B at Singapore Airport.

I'd say derden's 50 mins are more than enough to get a bit of the internet going. Most major international airports are very efficient, and Changi Airport is no exception, so there's nothing to worry about.

derden, if you're still worried, upon exit from the plane, just check with any airport staff about where you can get info on baggage in transit. I'm sure all will go smoothly for you. :)
