What you have to do is check the travel insurance from different insurance's and make sure they are what you require; ie ; would a 12month yearly insurance at cover for 3month trips be cheaper.
Check out all the different prices from your home town which we do not know then take the one most suitable for YOU.

I just checked the LP one because they used to have a really c**p provider but I see they have now switched to the same one we offer (typical LP, always copying TP ) which is really good (World Nomads). We did a comparison with another insurance provider here, only problem is that that other insurance service is currently not available (being worked on I'm told).

Anyway, it gives you a pretty good idea of coverage and that kind of thing in comparison with what you might find elsewhere. Both of these are priced very well, but in some countries you might find better (the UK has it's fair share of cheap travel insurance for example).

I know a few people that have taken out that insurance from World Nomads and were very pleased with it. There's a few older threads where different members chip in with their recommendations on this and other travel insurances. I'm sure if you use the advanced forum search you'll find some useful advice on this!
